Why host a climbing festival specifically for women when there are other climbing events women could attend?
The answer lies in the crucial need for dedicated spaces where women, nonbinary, and trans climbers can showcase their incredible feats and tales, sparking a blaze of inspiration in their community. Festivals like these also urge others in their community to leap into the adventure, break boundaries, and chase their dreams unapologetically.
Women's climbing festivals aren't just about scaling heights; they offer a blend of networking, skill sharpening, and mentorship that's as refreshing as chalk on your hands. These events are about breaking barriers, promoting equality and diversity, and forging a bond stronger within the climbing community.
Which is why we proudly host an annual women's climbing festival smack dab at the beginning of Women's History Month. At Climb With Her, attendees not only engage in friendly competition, but also stand a chance to win exciting raffle prizes from top outdoor brands, support women-owned small businesses, and rally for organizations championing women, trans, and nonbinary folks in the great outdoors. It's not just climbing; it's climbing with purpose!
